|SOLAR ECLIPSE GLASSES
use ISO and CE certified solar eclipse glasses manufactured by NASA
approved U.S. manufacturers. Don’t use solar glasses if the lenses are scratched,
punctured, wrinkled or damaged in any way.
Damaged solar glasses should be cut into small pieces and properly disposed of to prevent unsuspecting persons from finding and using them
Solar eclipse glasses that are compliant with the ISO 12312-2 safety standard can be used look at the sun for extended periods of time. Most manufactures recommend 3 minutes continuous use, intermittently for several hours.
If the filters aren't damaged you can reuse ISO certified solar eclipse glasses indefinitely according to the NASA website, but most manufactures recommend to dispose of them after three years.
We only sell certified solar glasses that are guaranteed from defects.
|On the retail level, we sold
more solar glasses the day before the solar eclipse than the previous
three months combined. Anybody that still had solar glasses on the day
of the eclipse, the prices were double and tripled, but it is a risk to
hold back any until the last day, because if something goes wrong they
will be valueless after the eclipse is over.
